My research focuses on the evolution of tree frogs in Middle America, and now in Asia! I am interested in understanding the roles that morphology, microhabitat and phylogeny have on the diversification of this group of frogs!

I like to answer my research questions using a multidisciplinary approach.  I combine experimental fieldwork, molecular laboratory work, museum specimens measurements and comparative phylogenetic approaches.

My previous and ongoing side projects are interdisciplinary and highly collaborative. These projects include natural history notes, species descriptions, phylogenetics and systematics, biogeography, niche modeling, phylogeography, functional morphology and comparative analyses. See my publications section for more details!
